White Roof Coating Reduces Temperatures and Energy Costs

During hot summer days, roofs can absorb large amounts of heat. As a result, not only does the roof surface temperature rise significantly, but the interior of a home or building can also become uncomfortably warm. An effective solution is a reflective white roof coating, also known as a cool roof.

Our reflective white roof coating can reduce the temperature of the roof surface by as much as 20 to 40°C (36 to 72°F) on sunny days. By reflecting sunlight and efficiently releasing heat, the coating significantly limits heat absorption and roof overheating.

This has a direct impact on indoor comfort. Depending on the type of building, insulation levels, and weather conditions, indoor temperatures can be reduced by 10 to 15°C (18 to 27°F). This creates a more comfortable living and working environment, even during periods of extreme heat.

In addition, a cooler building places less demand on air conditioning systems. This results in lower energy consumption, reduced utility costs, and a smaller carbon footprint. A white roof coating is therefore not only a smart investment in comfort but also a sustainable choice for the future.

Benefits of a Reflective White Roof Coating:

  • Reduces roof surface temperatures by 20–40°C (36–72°F)
  • Lowers indoor temperatures by 10–15°C (18–27°F)
  • Reduces reliance on air conditioning
  • Lowers energy costs
  • Improves indoor comfort during hot weather
  • Sustainable and environmentally friendly solution

With a cool roof, you can enjoy a cooler building, greater comfort, and lower energy bills—especially when temperatures are at their highest.
